When a young man like “Kaan” visits a library, he reads heavy tomes of Thai literature and the ancient narratives and illustrations put him to sleep just like a sleeping medication. The librarian then gives him a book with Kaan’s name on the cover and instructs him to read it.
When he opens it however, the young man and his faithful companion, Gabilpuksa, are suddenly transported into the book and swept up in a wonderful journey where the heroes and villains of classic literature come to life. To get back to the real world, they have to risk everything they own.

The protagonist of the KAAN series is a young guy named “Kaan” who, like the audience, loses interest and falls asleep while reading lengthy works of Thai literature in a library. A kind librarian sees this and approaches, giving him a book with his name already written on the cover and encouraging him to read it.
The young man starts the book without hesitation and finds himself oddly sucked into the narrative alongside his weird new friend, “Gabil Puksa.” They embark on a fantastical trip populated by figures from classic literature and ultimately find their way back to the real world.

The theatre is located three kilometers to the north of Jomtien Beach. Take a cab or a tuk-tuk if you don’t happen to be staying in the neighborhood of the theatre. Don’t forget that there’s a chance of a traffic jam in the early evening; plan ahead so you don’t miss any of this amazing performance.
Each night at 7:30 pm, tune in to KAAN for the KAAN show.
Cost Of Tickets
Admission to a KAAN performance currently ranges in price from 2,500 to 4,000 Thai baht and believe me, the show is excellent and well worth the somewhat higher ticket price compared to other major Pattaya attractions. When compared to purchasing tickets at the gate, booking the ticket online will save you a significant amount of money.
Show only, show & stay, show & snack, show & play, promotion and group tickets are just some of the options for experiencing a KAAN performance you won’t forget.
