This is no ordinary art gallery, instead this gallery takes the normal art gallery concept and turns it on its head. At Art in Paradise you become part of the artwork by a series of optical illusions and other clever tricks. The gallery is set up perfectly so you can take pictures in such a way that it looks like you are crossing an old bridge or flying over the dessert on a magic carpet.
The building is split into ten sections and houses over one hundred pieces of art. It is great fun for children as well as adults and should be on any to-do list.
Tourists can enjoy themselves by dressing up and posing for pictures in front of works of art at Art in Paradise Pattaya, a vast interactive art museum.
Participate actively in the works of art
Visitors can stand or lie in 3D artworks painted on the walls and floors, posing in any number of creative ways.
Where the photographer is expected to stand is marked with stickers on the ground. They instruct the model on how to strike the best stance, guaranteeing that the final product will reflect the vision of the photographer. On the other hand, you may just pose anyway you like and see what happens.
Enjoyable for both young and old
Art in Paradise is a vast, air-conditioned museum with dozens of artworks where you can easily spend 2 or 3 hours, and visitors of all ages will have a great time taking ridiculous pictures and laughing at themselves.
Shoes are required to be removed when entering the museum to prevent damage to the exhibits. To enter, please remove your shoes; they will be returned to you when you leave.
There’s a little shop just at the exit where you can pick up some refreshments.
Artistic deceptions brought about by three-dimensional paintings
The point of these three-dimensional paintings is to trick the eye into thinking that things are happening outside the canvas, such as animals bursting out of the canvases or people walking across a ravine perched precariously on a tree trunk. The paintings are stunning on their own, but the photographs bring out the full range of effects the artists had hoped to achieve.
3D artworks
Classical artwork, landscapes, art from long-lost cultures, and optical illusions make up some of the many categories of Art in Paradise.
TIME magazine covers, your head on a plate in the kitchen, feeding fish to a dolphin swimming out of the painting, a giant octopus, an enormous whale emerging from the picture, a diver discovering a large pearl in a shell, a mermaid, the lost continent of Atlantis, and catching a huge fish are all depicted.
Art and the great outdoors
Follow that with a giant elephant bursting from a painting, a tiger splashing water out of the picture, a roaring lion, Meerkats staring at you on an African savannah, escaping from a crocodile, pushing a huge rhino back into the painting, serving red wine in a classic European painting, shooting a love arrow at a heart, being a part of a van Gogh, painting the Mona Lisa, strolling
Ancient civilizations and illusory optical effects
Play the part of Einstein, Charlie Chaplin, or Gandhi in a meditation scene, or strike a pose while crossing a ravine on a rope ladder or walking gingerly on a tree log over a river in Ayutthaya Historical Park or Machu Picchu in Peru or while standing in a pyramid in ancient Egypt or while opening a treasure chamber in a pyramid or while riding a camel to a watering hole or while flying on a flying carpet or while playing the Song
