How Do I Get From Bang Saray To Pattaya Central

Getting from Bang Saray to Central Pattaya is very easy by public roads, so if you have your own car or motorbike you can get between the two in either direction in around 40 minutes.

Bang Saray also known as Bang Sare, is in the Sattahip District of Chon Buri province not too far from Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and about 20km from the center of Pattaya.

If you follow Route 3 from Bang Saray it will take you up past Ban Amphur Beach heading towards Jomtien before turning off at the Jomtien Talay Pao Restaurant and following the road all the way into Pattaya before taking a left at Pattaya Pannipa on Central Pattaya Road heading towards Beach Road and Central Pattaya as shown below.

Getting from Bang Saray to Jomtien is exactly the same route as before until you come to the Tiger Park where you take a left turn onto Jomtien Second Road and follow it all the way round before taking another left on Thanon Chaiyaphruek and heading straight down onto the coast road and Jomtien Beach as shown below.

Both of these journeys can be done in less than 35 minutes obviously depending on traffic and the time of day with Jomtien being a fair bit closer so around 20-25 minutes by car would be the norm.

If you decide to do these journeys by standard taxi, expect to pay around $10 / £7 / 370 Baht for the journey between Bang Saray and Central Pattaya and around $8 / £5.50 / 300 Baht from Bang Saray to Jomtien Beach.

My Top Tips For Traveling From Bang Saray

Always remember though to make sure the taxi driver is using his meter as taxi’s in Pattaya are notorious for overcharging tourists for journeys no matter how short. If the driver refuses to switch on the meter and is quoting you a ridiculous price, get out and try another one.

My recommendation would be to just call a Grab Taxi as they have a set price, cheaper than standard taxis and there’s no messing around with meters or haggling. It’s all i use in Pattaya nowadays as you know the price and you can rely on not being ripped off.
